How to Find Physical Resources
In order to find print books, theses and project reports, audio-visual and media materials, and periodicals in the catalog, limit your search (the box to the right of the search box) to “Haus Edelweiss” holdings only.
Materials are found on the shelves according to their call number. It consists of Dewey Decimal Number, Cutter-Sanborn number, and Publication year. For example, 261.873 Y54 2009.
Some library resources have prefixes. Books may have prefixes according to the language (except English) and collection. For example, prefix RUS stands for Russian resources, prefix REF helps to locate reference resources, prefix THESIS refers to thesis and project report collection. For example, RUS REF 220.3 T626 1996.
In order to check out physical materials, use the “Self Checkout” button in your Library Account. Enter you TCMII student ID (3-4 numbers in your @tcmi.edu email address) or your library card number and scan the item/items that you wish to borrow. When you finished use the “Finish” button.
