How to Find eBooks and Audiobooks

Find the desired eBook or audiobook by searching the Catalog​ by title, author, subject or series. EBooks have prefixes according to the provider or collection: EBSCO, CREDO (Credo Reference) PROQUEST (ProQuest) and WEB (Open access resources) before the call number (for example, EBSCO 220.3 T57 2006).

EBSCO eBooks and audiobooks include titles on a variety of aspects of Christian religious studies and theology. The collection consists of more than 3,000 titles.

To access EBSCO eBooks and audiobooks through the Library Catalog:

Theological Online Library is a combined source of materials in Russian for theological education and service. The library contains theological, educational, and scientific literature and materials.
The titles from the collection are not found in the TCM Library Catalog.

Equalibra is a digital library for Christians. It consists of over 1000 eBooks in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
The titles from the collection are not found in the TCM Library Catalog.

Bulgarian Electronic Resources (under Resources in Student Languages) consist of Christian Electronic Library and Veren eBooks and can be found in the “Open Access Resources” section under “Resources in Student Languages”.

Faclia eBook Collection consists of 170 eBooks and is constantly being developed. It includes books on Christian theology, Bible commentaries, homiletics, church history, Christian ethics, evangelism and discipleship, biblical counselling, etc.
The number of accounts for TCM is limited.

How to Find eJournals and Journal Articles

Articles can not be searched for in the TCM Library Catalog. They are individually indexed in electronic databases and can be searched for by search terms on the respective platforms. Some collections have the full text of the articles. Those that do not are called “index databases”. You can print, download or email journal articles to yourself.

If you find an article you need, but cannot get the full text from the index, you can request the article by sending an email to [email protected] or filling out the contact form.

RPC provides an in-depth collection of resources covering topics such as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, etc. RPC includes more than 200 full-text journals and magazines. Full-text coverage dates back to 1911.

ATLA/ATLAS combines the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion with ATLA’s online collection of major religion and theology journals. ATLA/ATLAS consists of full-text content from more than 380 journals. Coverage is from 1949.

The Journal of Spiritual Formation & Soul Care is a peer-reviewed journal. Theses and dissertations are very valuable resources for scholarly researchers. Even if a thesis or dissertation does not exactly match your topic, it can be helpful in your future research efforts.

TREN is a library of over 17,000 theological thesis/dissertation titles representing research from more than 135 different institutions. TREN makes available conference papers presented at annual meetings of several academic societies.
TCM Library subscribes to TREN and can obtain a limited number of pdf documents each year.

To download a thesis/dissertation:
