Cohorts are a group of students speaking the same language, usually living in the same country, who join together to complete a Certificate in Disciple-making or a Master of Arts degree following a specific order. All students take the limited courses at the same time, with the exception of their online electives.
All students are required to engage throughout the course of study in reflection on their ability to transfer classroom knowledge into action within a given ministry area. The Integrated Reflection Ministry Project consists of annual reports and self-evaluations submitted by the student at the end of each calendar year of their TCM studies. Also, annual evaluations are submitted by individuals impacted by the student’s ministry. Prior to graduation, a Final Report by the student delineates evidence of the student’s achievement of TCM’s educational outcomes, evidence of the capability to transfer knowledge into action and a critical reflection on his or her own actions.
