The following list are the most frequently asked questions and answers at TCM. If you cannot find an answer to your question in the list below, be sure to search our guides or open a help ticket.

All admitted students are issued a student ID and a student e-mail address. If you have taken a course before but did not apply for Admission, you are not a TCM student.

Students who do not have validated bachelor’s degrees may take courses and apply to complete the Certificate Program. A validated seminary degree is not a prerequisite for admission to the Master’s programs.

Any prospective student may take two TCM International Institute courses, following the course registration procedure, before a formal application commitment.

Credit for these two courses can be given to the student only when the following 3 conditions are met:

  • All class assignments, reading, and the exam are completed and a final passing grade is given to the student by the professor.
  • A completed application has been submitted to the Austrian TCM office within 12 months of taking the course.
  • The applicant has been officially admitted into one the TCM Institute degree programs by the Admissions Committee.

TCM has purchased more than 1.500 ebooks in English and subscribes to several electronic journal collections. TCM students can also benefit from the Russian language materials of the EAAA Online Library. All of these are accessible from anywhere in the world.

Most of the library resources are in English, but there are also many materials in Russian, Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, and Bulgarian. The library constantly purchases more print and electronic books in other languages, so if you have suggestions of which books we should buy please send an e-mail to [email protected] or submit a purchase suggestion through the library catalog.

If you are a new student, you will be sent your credentials with the student confirmation letter. If you are a student who has  lost or forgot your password, please email [email protected]

Review your Requirement List, then go to the schedule and check the available courses in your country or at other Mentoring Centers that you can travel to. Then fill out the registration form accordingly.

If you are an admitted student, use your student e-mail to register for courses. Registration is done online. Follow the links for registration in the Schedules or here.

If you are not yet a student but you would like to become one, we encourage you to take a course first. In this case, contact [email protected] for instructions.

Admission documents are to be attached to the online electronic Admission Form. Carefully read the Admissions page, prepare all the required documents and then fill in the form and submit it.

The Requirement List includes courses sorted by categories. For each category of courses a set number of courses is required. After you receive a grade, your Requirement List is updated by the Academic Office. You can see what other courses you need in order to fulfill the requirements for your program of study.

One of the first courses you must take is PT 600 Research Methods. There is no other special order that courses need to be taken.

If you are trying to access a restricted TCM file or folder and get to the Request Permission screen, that means that you are signed with a different Google account or your default account is not your tcmi.edu account.

1. To solve this CLICK on “Switch accounts”

2. If your tcmi.edu account is not in the list CLICK “Sign in to another account”

3. Please put your entire “[email protected]” address and password and “Sing in”

Category: Library

Each course on Moodle has a section called Reading resources. It lists required and recommended readings in English and your own language. If only possible, the library tries to find electronic versions of these titles and make links from Moodle to them. Not all books can be found in electronic form, in such and other cases you can still contact [email protected] for help and we will suggest ways how you can anyway find enough quality readings for your course.

The library has good scanning possibilities and will scan and e-mail you materials which you need, in the limits of Copyright (a journal article, a chapter from a book). We can also obtain materials, which we don’t have, through InterLibrary Loan and e-mail them to you.

If you paid your fee in cash to your site coordinator it may take some time to process the transaction. If this is not the case or your payment was made at HE, please e-mail [email protected] indicating the issues you have, take a screenshot of the page, including the error, and attach it to the email.

Registration refers to procedure of signing up for a course by filling out the registration form. Registration form for admitted students can be found on the schedule page also on the detailed registration information page. If you are not a TCM student yet, contact [email protected]

Admission refers to the procedure of sending your application package to TCM in order to become a TCM student. Admission instructions are to be found on the website under Admissions.

TCM Accreditation is generally valid in most of the European Countries. If you apply to TCM International Institute with a state recognized BA Diploma, your MA or MDiv TCM diploma will be eligible for nostrification in your country. If the above is not true for your diploma, then you have to ask your national Ministry of Education or a local State University.

Courses are taught  as a hybrid model, that is 80% of the course is taught online and 20% is completed at a Mentoring Center.  Yes, you may complete courses in other countries. But you must contact the Regional Representative for specific information including housing, transportation, and must have valid travel documents like passport and visa.

Registration is mandatory, you will not be allowed to take the course without prior registration. Registration instructions are under Academic on the website.

It may be that the professor has given an extended dead-line to some students in order for them to submit their course assignments, or the grades have not been submitted to the office yet. If all the above are not the case, please e-mail [email protected] indicating the issues you have, take a screenshot of the page, including the error, and attach it to the email.

Upon admission, students receive a Requirement List that shows the courses they need to take for a specific program. You can see the Requirement Lists for the current year as well as for previous years on the Catalogs and Handbooks page.  Your personal Requirement list is always available in you TCM Google Drive account under Shared with me files.
